Alternate Foreign Minister G. Katrougalos departs for Batumi, Georgia, today to participate in the 14th International Conference the city is hosting on “Georgia's European Way – Ensuring Regional Stability”.
Mr. Katrougalos will speak on the first day of the conference on the subject of European Energy Security, following Georgia's recent accession to the European Union's Energy Community.
On the margins of the conference, Mr. Katrougalos will have bilateral meetings with Foreign Minister Mikheil Janelidze, Minister of State for European Affairs Victor Dolidze, and the Deputy Minister for Economy and Sustainable Development, Genadi Arveladze, who co-chaired the Greek-Georgian Joint Inter-ministerial Committee that convened in Athens in late May.
