The Deputy Foreign Minister for International Economic Relations, Dimitris Mardas, met on Thursday, 26 November 2015, with Kemal Dervis, Vice President and Director of global economy and development at the Brookings Institution and former Finance Minister of Turkey.
During the two-hour meeting, they discussed issues of economic interest, with emphasis on the prospects for foreign direct investments in Greece, as well as the potential for bilateral cooperation with Turkey on issues within the Deputy Minister’s competency, in light of the dynamic imparted to Greek-Turkish relations by the Prime Minister’s recent visit to Turkey.
