The Deputy Foreign Minister for Greek Diaspora Affairs, T. Quick, met yesterday with the Georgian Ambassador to Greece, Ioseb Nanobashvili. During the meeting in question, there was a discussion about Mr. Quick's upcoming visit to Tbilisi, from 22 to 24 January, and the schedule of his meetings there.
During his two-day stay in Tbilisi, Mr. Quick is scheduled to meet with his Georgian counterpart in order to exchange views on cooperation between the two countries' diasporas with members of the Georgian political leadership, with the Parliamentary Committees on Foreign and Diaspora affairs, and with members of the academic community. Within the framework of his visit, he will deliver a speech at the University of Tbilisi's Institute of Greek Studies, which is subsidised through the General Secretariat for Greeks Abroad.
