Foreign Minister Kotzias to visit Albania (Tirana, 6-7 June 2016)

Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias will be in Tirana on Monday and Tuesday, 6 and 7 June.

On Monday, 6 June, Mr. Kotzias will have a meeting with the Foreign Minister of Albanian, Ditmir Bushati, after which the two ministers will make joint statements to the news media. Mr. Kotzias will then be received by the President of the Republic of Albania, BujarNishani, and will meet with Archbishop Anastasios of  Tirana, Durrës and All Albania.

On Tuesday, 7 June, Mr. Kotzias will be the keynote speaker at an event being hosted by the University of Tirana on the importance of Greek-Albanian relations for the European future of the region. He will then meet with the head of the main opposition party, LulzimBasha, and have meetings with prominent figures of the Greek National Minority.
