Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias to visit Albania (Tirana, 20 October 2020)
Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias will travel to Albania tomorrow, Tuesday, 20 October, to meet with the country’s state and political leadership.
Τhe Minister of Foreign Affairs will first meet with Albania’s acting Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Gent Cakaj.
The talks will focus on bilateral, European and regional issues, with emphasis on Greek-Albanian relations, developments in the Eastern Mediterranean, and the European perspective of the Western Balkans.
The Minister will then be successively received by Albania’s Prime Minister, Edi Rama, and President, Ilir Meta.
During his visit he will also hold talks with the Presidents of the Democratic Party and the Unity for Human Rights Party, Lulzim Basha and Vangjel Dule, respectively, as well as with Greek entrepreneurs who are active in Albania.
Finally, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will meet with His Beatitude Archbishop Anastasios of Tirana, Durrës and All Albania.
