In order to minimise waiting time and to provide better service, the Consulate General operates by appointment only except for emergencies. Citizens are requested to schedule an appointment well in advance by calling the Consulate General from Monday to Friday, from 9:00-15:00 hours. Citizens are required to bring with them all necessary documents and appropriate information on the day of their appointment.

Time difference from Greece: from the first Sunday in October until the first Sunday in April (winter time in Greece, summer time in Australia): +8:30, whereas from the first Sunday in April until the first Sunday in October (winter time in Australia, summer time in Greece): +6:30
