Armistice of Mudros Centenary Memorial Service (31 October 2018)

The Consul General of Melbourne, Mr. D. Michalopoulos delivered a speech on 31 October, during the ceremonies to mark the centenary of the Armistice of Mudros (17/30 October 1918).  The event, a first, was organised by the Lemnos – Gallipoli Commemorative Committee at the Sanctuary of the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne.  In attendance were MPs from the Legislative Assembly, representatives of Greek Communities, RSL members and relatives of veterans.
