Information from the Consulate General in Melbourne to all Greek citizens awaiting repatriation to the Hellenic Republic via the Athens international airport “Eleftherios Venizelos”

The Consulate General in Melbourne would like to remind all passengers travelling to Athens, during the period from 2 to 20 April 2020, at the Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos”, that upon arrival they will be subject to confinement at home for fourteen days.

Competent Greek authorities and enforcement agencies can ask from persons entering the territory of the Hellenic Republic their address in which they will remain confined for the next fourteen days.

Violation of the above-mentioned terms can result in hefty fines.
