The Consul General took part in the commemoration of the EOKA heroes and the 1st of April struggle for freedom

The Consul General, Mr. D. Michalopoulos took part in the memorial service in honour of the heroes of the 1st of April 1955 EOKA struggle for freedom, which was held on 31 March, at the Apostle Andrew Greek Orthodox Church at Sunshine West.

The High Commissioner for Cyprus, Mrs. M. Mavrommatis was also in attendance.
