Notice for Position at the Consulate General of Greece in Sydney

The Consulate General of Greece in Sydney within the framework of the Action "Employee Fieldworkers' Support to Consular Authorities in Third Countries" of the European Union's Internal Security Fund / Border and Visa Section announces a position for the recruitment of local staff for a period of six (6) fixed-term private-law employment contract to cover the needs of the Visa Section.

Interested individuals should:

Be 21 to 60 years old,

Be permanent residents or Australian citizens that reside in New South Wales,

Have a Bachelor's, Diploma or Higher Education degree, or be a current student at a higher

education institution,

Have a good knowledge of English,

Be computer literate

Knowledge of the Greek language is a desirable skill

Any additional qualifications, e.g. experience in a similar position, flexibility for working outside normal hours and familiarity with the international environment will be taken into account.

Shortlisted candidates will be informed by telephone on Monday 2 December  2019 and will be invited to attend an interview before a three-member committee panel.

Applications must be titled "NOTICE OF POSITION AT THE CONSULATE GENERAL OF GREEECE IN SYDNEY" and any further required communication between the candidates and  the Consulate General will take place exclusively through the e-mail address
