Notice of position - Secretary to the Consul General

The Consulate General of Greece in Sydney announces the availability of a position for a Secretary to the Consul General, who, if needed might be also asked to perform other duties at the Consulate General.

The recruitment will be done under a full-time private law employment contract, for a period of two years, with the possibility of renewal.

Those interested should be:

• 21 to 60 years old

• Citizens or permanent residents of Australia

• Graduates of at least secondary education

• Fluent in Greek and English

• Be computer literate

Any additional qualifications, e.g. experience in a similar position or university degree will be taken into account.

Interested individuals should submit their applications with a detailed curriculum vitae by Friday 30October, 20202:00 pm  at the Consulate General of Greece in Sydney,  Level 2 / 219-223 Castlereagh Street, Sydney NSW 2000 or byemail at grgencon.sid@mfa.gr.

Shortlisted candidates will be informed by email on Monday 02November 2020 and will be invited to attend an interview before a three-member committee panel on Friday 06 November 2020.

The submitted applications mustbe titled "NOTICE OF SECRETARY’S POSITION AT THE CONSULATE GENERAL OF GREEECE IN SYDNEY" and any further required communication between the candidates and  the Consulate General will take place through the e-mail address grgencon.sid@mfa.gr
