Important message on CONVID-19

Dear friends, fellow citizens,

In view of the COVID-19 pandemic and the extensive global measures against the spread of the virus, the Consular Section of the Embassy of Greece in Canberra, with a view to safeguarding the health and safety of the public and its employees, will henceforth (18/3/2020), and until further notice, handle only urgent and strictly necessary consular matters.

Citizens who have already scheduled their appointments will be individually contacted in order to determine the necessity of the citizens’ physical presence.

The Consular Section will decide the urgency of your case and/or whether your business can be conducted through electronic correspondence. If so, you will receive further instructions. In the event of an emergency case, which cannot be handled electronically, our personnel will arrange an appointment for you.

We urge you to avoid any unnecessary visits to the Consular Section. If you must visit, please implement all the guidelines and advice issued by the Australian Government on protective measures against the coronavirus.
