Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias to participate in a meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council (29 May 2020)

Today, Friday 29 May, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias will participate via teleconference, from Athens, in a meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council (FAC).

The Foreign Ministers’ talks will focus on EU-China relations and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in Asia and the Pacific.

They will also discuss current international issues, including the recent developments in Afghanistan.

Finally, Nikos Dendias will brief the Council on the Second “Thessaloniki 2020” Ministerial Forum, which took place on 19 May and focused on deepening cooperation among the Balkan countries to limit the repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic and prepare the ground for the region’s recovery.
