Mission/Role
-Mission of the Embassy is to promote bilateral relations between Greece - Belgium in political, economic, cultural, tourist and other sectors.
-Its role is also to apply the scheduled foreign policy of Greece and to formulate opinions and recommendations on matters within its competence.
-Furthermore, the Embassy has consular functions aiming to provide all possible assistance to the Greek citizens and expatriates.
The Greek Embassy in Belgium was founded in 1945. The newest building which houses all the Sections of the Embassy is property of the Greek state and it was inaugurated in 2003. It is located at 10 Petits Carmes street, opposite the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
