Greek doctor awarded during ceremony at the Greek Embassy in Belgium (Brussels, 15.12.2021)

The awarding of Greek physician, practicing medicine in Belgium, Professor Marianna Arvanitakis with the "European Patient Ombudsman Award for the Best Medical Practice 2020" took place on December 15, at the Embassy of Greece in Belgium. The award is given by the international Non-Governmental organization “Patient Ombudsman” in recognition of European doctors’ contribution to the fight against the pandemic. Ambassador of Greece to Belgium, Dionysios Kalambrezos, referred to the work and personality of Dr. Arvanitakis, congratulating her on the important distinction. The ceremony was addressed by the President of the European Medical Association Dr. Vincenzo Costigliola and Erik Van den Haute, Professor at the Law School of ULB University in Brussels, who spoke about the importance of the award and the significant work of the Greek doctor.
