Applications for Academic Year 2016-17

The School of Journalism and Mass Communications of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki announces the opening of the applications period for its English-taught Master’s Degree program in Digital Media, Communication and Journalism. This 12-month full-time post-graduate program (90 ECTS), offers an interdisciplinary perspective on the key forms and practices of contemporary communication and journalism. Combining practice based learning with sustained theoretical reflection, the MA program is addressed to aspiring graduates and mid-career professionals in the fields of communication and journalism offering three distinct pathways:
1. Digital Media, Culture and Communication
2. European Journalism
3. Risk Communication and Crisis Journalism

The School of Journalism and Mass Communications has in recent years repeatedly featured among the top 50 Media/Communications Schools of Europe, and is member of the European Journalism Teaching Association. Its English-taught MA program builds on its 15-year long experience in training international students in its tailor-made English-taught program for Erasmus students. Above all, it is based on the School’s 25-year long success in promoting learning through theory-building, cutting edge technical skills and professional training, and reflects its steadfast commitment to innovation, excellence, interdisciplinary education and international outlook.

Online applications for 2016/17 entry, open on 1 February 2016. There is no fixed closing date, however, since the program operates a rolling admissions system, whereby admissions’ decisions are made on an on-going basis, till all the available places have been allocated.
