Illumination of landmarks in Ontario in the colours of the Greek Flag
A series of important landmarks in Ontario will be illuminated this year in blue & white, the colours of the Greek Flag, to celebrate the 200th Anniversary from the Greek Struggle for Independence, which led to the establishment of the modern Greek state.
Wednesday, March 24th, at 8 p.m.: Illumination of the “Toronto” sign in Nathan Philips Square by the Mayor of Toronto. The illumination ceremony will be broadcast live:
