Information required for military recruitment purposes (class of 2022)

The Hellenic National Defence General Staff has announced that all male Greek citizens who were born born in 2001 (recruitment class of 2022) are required to submit a Census Sheet in the first three months of 2019 (January 2, 2019 to March 29, 2019).

Those eligible for military service who live within the jurisdiction of the Consulate General of Greece in Toronto must come to the Consulate, between 9:30 am and 1:30 pm Monday – Friday, and submit the following in person:

1) Greek ID card or Valid Passport (Greek or Canadian)

2) Proof of study

3) Proof of residence

4) If there is a serious health condition or illness, the relevant papers and proof from the doctor
