The Faces of Eros

Opening in Toronto for one evening, 22 February 2015 at The Burroughes Building, Byzantine Arts Today’s (*BART*) *The Faces of EROS* will display over 30 incredible Limited Edition Archival Reproductions from the works of contemporary artist George Kordis. The exhibition is the North American Premiere of this Kordis collection which presents a series of love vignettes that explore the EROS theme.

This Kordis premiere presents the audience with a rare opportunity to see Kordis execute an original  piece of art on the theme of EROS and PSYCHE, a beloved Greek myth.  This unique opportunity to witness a world-class contemporary master use the Byzantine mode of painting with modern artistic methods to recreate a myth known and loved by many and never before experienced in this manner is a Canadian premiere.
