Customs

To clear cars through customs, Greeks abroad address themselves – via our Consular Authorities abroad and the Foreign Ministry’s E3 Directorate – to the Finance Ministry, and specifically the Directorate General for Customs, DIPEAK (32 Acti Kondyli St., 185 45 Piraeus, tel: 210 4625884, fax: 210 4625182)

You can find additional information on the Finance Ministry’s Secretariat General for Information Systems website.

Relevant sums owed to the State by Greek and foreign nationals residing outside Greece are obtained through the relevant Customs Authority’s sending the relevant documents to the Foreign Ministry’s E3 Directorate, which forwards them to Missions Abroad to be conveyed to the person clearing a car through customs.
