Ambassador Anghelopoulos visits Michaëlle Jean School-28/1/2014

Ambassador Anghelopoulos visited today Michaëlle Jean School in Barrhaven-Ottawa where he had been received warmly by both teachers and students! Students prepared Greek dances to welcome him whereas he later on spoke to them about European Union, Greece's contribution to the EU and more widely to the world. He also received and answered questions from the students and had the opportunity to talk about various topics spanning from Greek philosophy to EU's currency and symbols. In the end, all students and the Ambassador took a picture wearing EU hats and saying together "Vive L'Union Européenne, Vive le Canada!". Ambassador Anghelopoulos was accompanied by the Press Counsellor, Ms. Sia Papatriantafyllou and the European Union Press Officer, Ms. Diodora Bucur.
