Announcement regarding protective measures against the Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Due to the critical sanitary conditions and the austere measures already taken by our country and the Government of Canada, we are obliged to take extraordinary measures in order to contain the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The measures refer to the operations of the Consular Section of the Embassy and the Consulates General of Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. They will be applied as of Monday, March 16th, 2020 and shall be in place until further notice.

Readjustments shall take place according to the developments.

During this time, we would like to request everyone who needs to visit our premises, regardless the nature of their case, to strictly make an appointment and even those who have appointments to contact the competent staff-members in order to re-confirm and receive information on potential changes.

We would like to underline that these measures are being taken with the sole purpose to contain the spread of the Coronavirus and to protect the citizens, the staff-members of our Missions and the wider public.
