Book Presentation : "The Goodtime Girl"

To celebrate this year’s world commemoration of “Greek Language Day”

and in collaboration with the network of European Union National Institutes of Culture

The Embassy of Greece in Canada invites you to the presentation of the book:

“The Goodtime Girl “

at the Ottawa Public Library (Sunnyside Branch, 1049 Bank Street), on Friday, February 10, 2023, at 16.15.

The event will commence with introductory remarks by H.E. the Ambassador of Greece Mrs. K. Athanassiadou and a presentation of the book by author Mrs. Tess Fragouli. A discussion and question period will follow. A novel that highlights the works of contemporary authors of Greek descent in Canada, “The Goodtime Girl” vividly describes the story of Kivelli at the time of the burning of Smyrna.
