Byzantine Arts exhibition held at the Ambassador's Residence (20.2.2015)

The Embassy of Greece offered a rare glimpse of Byzantine Art (20.2.2015) in support of BART: The North American Centre of Byzantine Arts. Never before seen in Canada, BART founders, Dr. George Kordis and Lesia Maruschak, presented an art exhibition revealing the Byzantine mode of painting and art performance using digital technology. This was the first performance of its kind for Kordis, who is renowned for his use of the Byzantine mode of painting in conjunction with contemporary artistic trends.

The event was hosted in Ottawa, on 20 February 2015, at the residence of His Excellency Ambassador George L. Marcantonatos with the support of the Hellenic Community of Ottawa.
