EU-Canada Summit, 26 September 2014

Herman Van Rompuy, President of the European Council, and José Manuel Barroso, European Commission President, travelled to Ottawa to represent the European Union at the 2014 EU-Canada Summit. The Summit was hosted by Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and marked the successful end of negotiations on the Strategic Partnership Agreement (SPA) and the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA). Greece was represented by Lambros Kakissis, Chargé d'Affaires a.i.
