Vacancy Notice - Clerk Position
The Embassy of Greece in Ottawa is seeking to employ, based on a full-time contract, a Clerk for a period of two-years.
Applicants should:
- be between 21 - 60 years old at the time of employment,
- be fluent in Greek and English (orally and written),
- reside permanently in Canada (Canadian citizens or residence permit holders),
- have knowledge of French, which would be highly appreciated.
- have strong organizational skills and the ability to undertake projects and administrative duties using computer systems (ie Microsoft Office),
- have the ability to work as a member of a team or with minimal supervision,
- have good interpersonal skills, including in dealing with the public,
- respect issues of confidentiality.
Duties include the reception of guests, dealing with general enquiries, answering and screening of all incoming telephone calls, as well as assisting colleagues of other Embassy Departments according to daily needs.
