The Consular Office handles consular and legal issues. Among the functions of the consular office included family, legal matters such as declaration of birth of children, name, validating the authenticity of signatures and copies of applications such as for inheritance, as well as providing assistance to prisoners Greeks and Greek nationals in emergencies but the intergovernmental providing legal support.
