Ancient Greek tragedy performance in Beijing (December 15th, 2014)

The Ambassador of Greece in China, Mr. Vassilios Costis, attended the performance of Aeschylus trilogy “Oresteia” by a Chinese troupe directed by the Chinese director LUO Jinlin, who attempts to explore the relation between ancient Greek drama and traditional Chinese opera. The Ambassador congratulated the director and the troupe for the creative combination of the two art forms, and for the interesting result of the approach.
