An interview of the Ambassador of Greece, Vasilis Papaioannou to the magazine "Business Guide 2014, Business Cyprus-Greece”
In an interview to the “Business Guide Cyprus - Greece, Business 2014”, the Ambassador of Greece, Vasilis Papaioannou stressed the fact that Greek companies continue to trust Cypriot economy and do business in Cyprus, despite the damage suffered as a result of Eurogroup decisions. Moreover, he highlighted the potential for further enlargement of Greek-Cyprus business cooperation.
He pointed out that Cyprus remains a top choice for Greek companies’ expansion abroad, as proven by Foreign Direct Investment figures, which have reached 3 billion euros. Mr. Papaioannou emphasized the fact that Greek companies are covering a wide range of activities such as food, beverages, catering, building materials, furniture, clothing, footwear, editorial work, transportation, medicine, etc. Also, other areas of Greek interest such as energy, renewable energy and traditional Greek products.
