Award ceremony of the annual student essay competition of the Embassy of Greece in Cyprus (Nicosia, 11 June 2018)

The prize award ceremony of the annual student essay competition was held yesterday on the 11th of June 2018 in the Residence of the Ambassador of Greece in Cyprus Mr Ilias Fotopoulos. The competition is organized by the Greek Embassy in Cyprus, annually, since 1976, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Cyprus.

The Minister of Education and Culture Mr Constantinos Chambiaouris as well as the Ambassador of Greece in Cyprus Mr Ilias Fotopoulos addressed the event and congratulated the students for their participation in the competition and their excellent performance.

The awarded students are:

1st prize: Mrs Myrsini Strati (Forum Greek Private School)

2nd prize: Mrs Eleytheria Kelekidou (G. Talioti Geroskipou Highschool, Paphos)

3rd prize: Mr Panayiotis Christoforou (Kolossi Highschool, Limassol)

1st commendation: Mrs Marina Pschalidou (Kykkou B; Highschool, Nicosia)

2nd commendation: Mrs Maria Dimitriou (Kykkou A; Highschool, Nicosia)

3rd commendation: Mrs Despoina Gerolemidou (St Peter and Paul Highschool, Limassol)
