Official visit to Cyprus of the Greek Minister of National Defence Mr. D. Avramopoulos.

The Minister of National Defence, Dimitris Avramopoulos, paid a two days’ official visit to Cyprus. On Monday September 30, Mr. Avramopoulos met with the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nicos Anastasiades, the Minister of Defence, Photis Photiou, and the Archbishop of Cyprus, Chrysostomos II. On Tuesday October 1, the Minister of National Defence, representing the Greek government, attend the military parade which was held in the context of the celebrations for the 53rd anniversary of the declaration of Republic of Cyprus’ independence The same day, Mr. Avramopoulos also met with representatives of the Cypriot political parties.)
