The Ambassador V. Papaioannou met with a Delegation of the Board of Associations of “EOKA Fighters” (Embassy of Greece, 9/7/2014)

On July 9, a delegation of the Board of Associations of “EOKA Fighters”, met with the Ambassador of Greece Mr. V. Papaioannou.

The meeting gave the opportunity to the delegation to be informed upon various issues facing Greek foreign policy and particularly the Cyprus problem, in light of the recent EU-Turkey Association Council.

“EOKA Fighters” delegation thanked the Ambassador for the constructive exchange of views and reiterated that they will continue to work, together with Greece, for the liberation of Cyprus from the Turkish army and the reunification of the island, as a modern European democracy.
