Alternate Foreign Minister G. Katrougalos today met with Tourism Minister Elena Kountoura and the entrepreneur Eftihis Vasilakis, vice president of the Greek Tourism Confederation and Aegean Airlines.
The meeting took place at the request of Mr. Vasilakis and within the framework of the meetings for the promotion of the extroversion of the Greek economy and for dealing with problems being faced by Greek enterprises in the tourism sector. There was an in-depth discussion of the promotion of the Greek tourism product in markets that, until recently, were not among our country's traditional target markets. However, according to the tourism data on recent years, there is considerable room for further development of tourist flows into Greece.
