Greece and Bahrain have always maintained friendly relations due to the Greek presence in the region since the early Hellenistic period, while they have been developing rapidly in recent years as demonstrated by the increase in contacts between the two sides.
The Kingdom of Bahrain is an a important partner for our country, which, despite its small size, can play a supporting role in the International Organizations in which it participates.
Former Foreign Minister, Mr. Dendias visited Bahrain on 21-22.11.2021, where he participated in the Manama Dialogue Forum (as the only European Foreign Minister) and had meetings with Bahraini officials. On 20.11.2022 he participated again in the Manama Dialogue Forum. During this visit, he met with his Bahraini counterpart, with whom two agreements where concluded.
Bahraini Foreign Minister Mr. Al Zayani visited our country in February 2021, as a participant in the PHILIA FORUM, while in May 2022 he visited Athens again. The Bahraini Minister of Finance, during a visit to Riyadh, met with the former Minister of Development and Investment, Mr Georgiades.
Greek presence in Kuwait is limited to a few people, while there is no organized Greek community.
