Bilateral Relations
Bulgaria
Greek-Bulgarian diplomatic relations, which date back to 1880, have evolved gradually, and stand today at a remarkable level. The constructive development of our bilateral relations has been constant and upward in all sectors of cooperation, particularly after Bulgaria’s accession to NATO (29.03.2004) and the EU (01.01.2007).
The Greek Embassy in Sofia includes a Consular Office, an Economic and Commercial Affairs Office, a Public Diplomacy Office, a Defence Attaché’s Office and a Police Liaison’s Office.
