Kyrgyzstan

Greece and Kyrgyzstan established diplomatic relations in 1992. Greece is represented in Kyrgyzstan through its Embassy in Astana, Kazakhstan, while Kyrgyzstan is represented in Greece through its Embassy in Moscow, Russia.

Bilateral Relations

While the scope of bilateral relations between Greece and Kyrgyzstan is currently modest, there is a common willingness to broaden and deepen these ties. To this end, the two nations are actively engaging in efforts to expand their contractual framework. Greece and Kyrgyzstan maintain a mutually beneficial relationship in the context of supporting their respective candidacies in international organizations. The Foreign Ministers of Greece and Kyrgyzstan have met twice in 2022 and 2023 on the margins of the UN General Assembly.
