Saint Kitts and Nevis

Greece established diplomatic relations with Saint Kitts and Nevis in 2004. The Embassy of Greece in Caracas has a parallel accreditation in Saint Kitts and Nevis.

Saint Kitts and Nevis, officially Saint Kitts and Nevis Federation, is an island country in the Caribbean Sea with Basseterre as its capital. It is the smallest country of the Western Hemisphere both in size and population.

Bilateral Relations

Greece established diplomatic relations with Saint Kitts and Nevis on 9 July 2004. Our country is represented in Saint Kitts and Nevis, through a parallel accreditation of the Greek Embassy in Havana. According to data by the Consular Office of the Embassy in Caracas (former parallel accreditation), there is no Greek community present in the country. The main form of political relations between the two countries is the occasional mutual support of candidacies within international organizations, especially in the United Nations. Furthermore, our country has provided development aid to Saint Kitts and Nevis in the past.
