The two countries established diplomatic relations in 1992. The Embassy of Greece in Moscow is accredited in Dushanbe.

Bilateral Relations
There is a shared interest in enhancing bilateral trade, economic, and investment ties. There are prospects for development in the sectors of construction materials, renewable energy, hydropower, metal mining, processing of agricultural products, tourism, and know-howtransfer.
