Greece and Turkmenistan established diplomatic relations in 1992.
Greece is represented in Turkmenistan via parallel accreditation of its Embassy in Moscow, while Turkmenistan maintains its representation in Greece through its Embassy in Moscow.
Bilateral Relations
Both sides agree that there is considerable potential for growth and development in the energy, construction, chemical, and fertiliser industries.
Greece supports the strengthening of Turkmenistan's relations with the European Union.
