Greece and Uzbekistan established diplomatic relations in 1992. Greece is represented in Uzbekistan via parallel accreditation of its Embassy in Moscow.
Uzbekistan is represented in Greece by its Embassy in Rome.
Bilateral Relations
Prospects for economic cooperation abound in sectors ranging from construction and pharmaceuticals to information technology, energy (modernising and upgrading energy infrastructure, harnessing renewable energy sources), environmental protection, and tourism.
Greece supports the strengthening of Uzbekistan's relations with the European Union.
