Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Giorgos Kotsiras, will visit Chicago, United States, from February 23 to 26, 2024, to brief Greek Diaspora members and associations on the government's recent initiatives for Diaspora Greeks, particularly postal voting and the Foreign Ministry's Strategic Plan for Greeks Abroad.
During his stay in Chicago, Mr. Kotsiras will meet with His Eminence Metropolitan Nathanael of Chicago, as well as with representatives of Diaspora organizations, and prominent members of the Greek community. The Deputy Minister will also visit the National Hellenic Museum, the Asia Minor and Pontos Hellenic Research Center, the Center for Hellenic Studies at the University of Chicago, the Greek community "Koraes” Elementary School and the Greek American Rehabilitation and Care Center for the Elderly. On Sunday, February 25, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs will attend the Divine Liturgy at St. Demetrios Church in Elmhurst, Chicago, and will address the Greek community.February 23, 2024
