Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias to visit Israel (Jerusalem, 28 July 2019)

On Sunday, 28 July, Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias will travel to Israel, where he will have a number of high-level meetings with the country’s state and political leadership.

More specifically, Mr. Dendias is to be received by the President of Israel, R. Rivlin, and Prime Minister B. Netanyahu, and he will also meet with his counterpart, I. Katz.

Discussions will focus on the deepening of Greek-Israeli cooperation through bilateral and trilateral schemes of cooperation, current developments in the Eastern Mediterranean, energy security, and Turkey’s illegal actions in the region.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs will also have a meeting with members of the Association of Greek Holocaust Survivors, after which he will visit the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum.
