The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Kotzias, will travel to Lake Prespa on Sunday 17 June 2018, where, in the presence of the Prime Ministers of Greece, Alexis Tsipras, and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Zoran Zaev, he will sign with his counterpart, Nikola Dimitrov, the Final Agreement for the Settlement of the Differences as described in the United Nations Security Council Resolutions 817 (1993) and 845 (1993), the Termination of the Interim Accord of 1995 and the Establishment of a Strategic Partnership between Greece and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia.
On behalf of the European Union, the Vice President of the European Commission and High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, and the Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn, will be attending the signing ceremony. Also attending, on behalf of the United Nations will be the Under-Secretary General for Political Affairs, Rosemary Dicarlo, and the UN Secretary General's Personal Envoy, Matthew Nimetz.
