Deputy Foreign Minister Kyriakos Gerontopoulos communicated by telephone today, Monday, 5 August, with Patriarch John of Antioch. Mr. Gerontopoulos informed the Patriarch of Antioch of his intention to visit the region in the near future, in continuation of relevant initiatives taken by the Foreign Ministry, following former Deputy FM Tsiaras’ visit to Beirut, aimed at continuing the efforts toward the location and release of the abducted Bishops of Aleppo.
