Deputy Foreign Minister Kyriakos Gerontopoulos will carry out a visit to Alexandria from 22 to 25 November.
On Saturday, 23 November, Mr. Gerontopoulos will visit the Cavafy Museum and the Greek Yacht Club of Alexandria (ENOA), and will meet with the Board of Directors of the Greek Community of Alexandria. He will then be received by Patriarch Theodoros II of Alexandria and the members of the Holy Synod.
On Sunday, 24 November, Mr. Gerontopoulos will attend a mass celebrated by the Patriarch at the Holy Church of Evangelismos, and he will attend the opening ceremony of the Patriarchal Greco-Roman Museum and the Sacristy of the Patriarchal Library.
On Monday, 25 November, Mr. Gerontopoulos will attend mass at the Holy Church of Saint Savvas, on the occasion of the celebration of the birthday of the Patriarch of Alexandria. Finally, he will meet with the Governor of Alexandria, Tarik Mahdi, and visit the city’s Greek schools and the “Manna” retirement home.
