Deputy Foreign Minister Kyriakos Gerontopoulos will carry out a two-day visit to Lebanon on 22 and 23 October. During his visit, he will meet at the Patriarchal Monastery of Balamand with Greek Orthodox Patriarch John X of Antioch and All The East. He will then be taken on a tour of the Seminary of Saint John of Damascus and talk with professors and students.
Mr. Gerontopoulos will also meet with Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour, as well as with members of the Board of Directors of the Greek Community of Beirut and the Association of Lebanese Graduates of Greek Universities. Finally, Mr. Gerontopoulos will visit the Greek Orthodox Hospital of Beirut, “Saint George”.
