Deputy Foreign Minister Dimitris Kourkoulas met at his office today, 24 October 2012, with Angus Lapsley, the Director for Europe and European Institutions at the UK Prime Minister’s cabinet office, Natasha Hughes, also from the cabinet office, and UK Ambassador to Greece David Landsman.
They exchanged views on the course of the negotiations on the multiannual financial framework, ahead of the 23 November Extraordinary European Council. They also discussed the course of the implementation of the decisions on the banking union and strengthening of economic governance, which will be discussed anew at the December European Council. Mr. Kourkoulas also briefed his collocutors on Greece’s positions on the course of EU enlargement.
