Deputy FM Kourkoulas meets with the Board of Directors of the Arab-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce

Deputy Foreign Minister Dimitris Kourkoulas met at the Foreign Ministry today with the new Board of Directors of the Arab-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Development. The discussion with the President, Haris Geronikolas, and Secretary General, A. Rajdab Mabger, of the Chamber, focused on Greece’s economic relations with the Arab countries, and it was agreed that the Foreign Ministry and the Chamber coordinate their actions.

More specifically, an agreement was reached on cooperation on the hosting of a business mission to accompany Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos, who will co-chair a Joint Interministerial Committee in the United Arab Emirates, as well as on a Greek-Arab economic forum to be held in May 2014, under the auspices of the Hellenic Presidency of the Council of the EU.
