Deputy FM Kourkoulas participates in a trilateral summit meeting of European social partners in Brussels

Deputy Foreign Minister Dimitris Kourkoulas was in Brussels today, 24 October, together with Social Affairs Minister Ioannis Vroutsis, to attend the trilateral summit meeting of European social partners, which was held in view of today’s meeting of the European Council.

European Union President Herman Van Rompuy, European Commission President Manuel Barroso, Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite, and representatives of European employer and employee organizations participated in the meeting.

The meeting saw an exchange of views on issues to be looked at by the European Council, with special emphasis on the issues of growth, employment, the funding of the economy, and the Eurozone’s social dimension.
