Deputy Foreign Minister Dimitris Kourkoulas will speak at the official opening of the Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly Plenary Session, at 12:30 on Friday, 28 March, at the Hellenic Parliament (Senate Hall).
The Assembly has 150 members, including the Speakers of the Parliaments of the countries of Latin America, of the Andean Community, and of the members states of MERCOSUR (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Venezuela).
The issues to be discussed include regional development in Europe, cooperation with the countries of Latin America, citizen participation in democratic processes, trade relations, and education.
